Done for You SSIP Level 1 Applications
If you already hold an SSIP Level 1 accreditation, I can be named as your competent person from the time you receive your documentation. Renewals will then be undertaken annually.
If you do not hold an SSIP Level 1 accreditation and want to apply for it, SMAS is recommended and you can choose what month you would like to apply. I will manage the application process. Most new clients apply the month after their contact commences to allow for the training matrix to be updated and the signatures on new documentation to be gathered.
If you have or require a higher standard of SSIP such as elite or plus level, a higher level package will be required which includes the additional policies needed to meet the standard.

We have awarded work to a subcontractor; what do I do now?
If they are a labour only subcontractor they can work to your Risk Assessment and Method Statement by reading it, agreeing to work to it and signing it.
If they are a bone-fide subcontractor, they need to provide you with their risk assessment and method statement. I can check the document for you to make sure it is suitable and sufficient, but there is an additional charge of £60+vat for the assessment and report as it is not covered in the Comply package.
How can I go about making sure my subcontractors are compliant?
If they are a labour only subcontractor they can work to your health and safety paperwork by reading it, agreeing to work to it and signing it.
Bone-fide subcontractors need to complete a subcontractor questionnaire and provide the documents listed. I can then appraise the contractor to see if their paperwork is suitable and sufficient, but there is an additional charge of £180+vat as it is not covered in the Comply package.
How can I make sure the RAMS my subcontractor has provided are suitable and sufficient?

In your documentation pack, there is a contact sheet detailing the office hours I am available to take calls. The contact sheet includes my number plus an email address to request a call in office hours.

No. Documents are PDF’s and just need to be downloaded and clicked. If you require amendments, email me the details and I will specifically produce the document for you.

To ensure any amendments made are checked by me and do not increase liability. If amendments to documents are needed , for example a change of personnel, just let me know and I will amend and reissue your documents.
Can my client talk to you?
Yes, of course. I can only take calls during my office hours of 11am and 12pm but if you email me the details of your client and a time that they will be available, I will call them back.
